Unclaimed Deposits

Balances held by SINPF that have not been claimed by members or beneficiaries — how to check the register and lodge a claim.

Over the years a small number of members lose touch with SINPF before claiming their full benefit. The Unclaimed Deposits register lists those balances so members, their families and estates can trace and claim what's theirs.

How to check

Bring valid ID and your member number — or, if you're claiming on behalf of a deceased member, certified copies of the death certificate and probate documents — to any SINPF office. Our Member Services team will run a trace and walk you through the claim process.

Unclaimed Deposit Balances

The Solomon Islands National Provident Fund (SINPF) holds unclaimed deposit balances on behalf of former members, dormant account holders, or deceased members whose funds have not yet been distributed to designated beneficiaries.

If you or a deceased family member held an active account with SINPF and have not received a final payout, these funds remain securely held in trust pending verification and processing.

1. How to Check the Unclaimed Register

Members and legal beneficiaries can verify whether they have unclaimed funds through several official channels:

  • In-Person Search: Visit the SINPF Customer Service Desk at the Main Office in Honiara or any provincial branch office.
  • Member Services Portal & Self-Service: Query your account status or check published listings through the official SINPF online portal.
  • Official Public Notices: Periodic gazettes and public listings of unclaimed accounts are posted on the official SINPF website and published in national newspapers.

2. Requirements for Lodging a Claim

To lodge a valid claim, applicants must provide supporting documentation to establish identity and entitlement.
