NPF Showcase at Malaita Day 2025

 The Solomon Islands National Provident Fund (SINPF/youSave) and the NPF- Formal Sector Team have conducted a three days awareness at the Malaita 42nd Second Appointed at DC park on Central Guadalcanal.

The awareness was started on Thursday 14th of August to Saturday, 16th of August 2025. The public came in good number to registered in yousave, working class enquire about their NPF balances (whether their employer still paid in their NPF contributions), norminations and other services NPF offers.

The working class have satisfied with responses from the youSave and the Employer Members Services Team.

The youSave Senior Customer Service Officer (SCSO) John Alepio Bana is urging newly registered youSave members must actively use the M-selen channel to continue deposit through their youSave Accounts.

He appealed to the informal sector, particularly the farmers, and market vendors must join youSave and serve for the future. The youSave members were impressed with M-selen channel because it is convenient for them to save their money through their Mobile at anytime and anywhere.

Mr. Bana express that; the little money you earn you must serve it in youSave through M-selen and good benefit about serving in youSave is you will receive the same interest rate credited by SINPF to NPF members every September 30th.

He said as prescribed under SINPF Act the required age to join youSave is 16 years and above.

He urges students at the venue to join youSave to prepare them for their savings for school fees and savings for the future.
